Great first spoon. What I like to do is leave a "handle" piece hanging off the bowl end while you work it then cut it off and clean it up at the end. It makes it easier to work the bowl from all sides.

Good tip. The other thing that I learned from this first time experience is that I made the bowl way too deep. It's so deep that it is actually quite difficult to eat with. But that's ok. I've been using it as a cooking/serving utensil!

@@BDLOutdoors-pj1mv yea, some of my first were too deep too. In real use, I just make more of a down and dirty small flat spatula looking thing and call it good:) It's fun to carve spoons but not when you forget a spork and want to eat. When hungry, they take way less time🤣
