i like that he doesn't hide any of the imperfections at the end. you can see the faces with 6, 4, and 18 have imperfections on the numbers and on the faces numbered 15 and 7 you can see imperfections on the dice itself. gives it some character and lets you know it's not some perfect 3D printed object made out of perfectly consistent materials. a person made it out of a stone. cool that it doesn't look perfect.

Fun fact! Topaz is naturally quite clear like this. The many varieties of colored topaz we see in stores is induced using chemical/biological reactions. One of the most common is to irradiate the stones, (This is why if you were to take a Geiger counter into a jewelry store, any colored topaz would register as having a very minimal radiation signal.)

Have you ever considered leaving a half finished die in the stone? After you get your initial flat and finish cutting in the geometry of the die, leaving it in the rest of the unfinished stone and only polishing some of the faces to give a “die trapped in stone” kind of look. It could be stood up as a paperweight/desk bauble and I think it would look incredible

There is a category of products known as "Vleben goods" which exist *solely* to demonstrate the wealth of the owner/purchaser. Its a human trait that has existed all the way back to the Palaeolithic era when people were knapping flint into tools by breaking of just the right bits that at the final hit you get the tool shape popping off in one piece. The ability to visualise just which angles you need to process (whether by percussion like flint or grinding like here) a block into the desired object is just incredible. Plus really cool that its stayed with humans for so long.

I just discovered your channel, and i'm in awe. The production quality is simply amazing, just like your gem cutting work. And how the the tracks in the background music merge together, is just incredible. Props to you.

Super talented. I don’t play games like this. Although I paint warhammer competitively, and so I see these dice used a lot, and just blown away at the talent you posses. Amazing work.

I've never once thought or cared about the creation of dice, but this is pure art. I'm simply blown away by the patience, skill, and craftsmanship required to make something of this caliber. Truly inspirational. Love & Blessings :)

I grew up with a faceted crystal sun catcher in my moms kitchen window, when you rolled it at the end, that all I could see, the rainbow spray from it was beautiful. Thank you for sharing, and the storytelling.
