When Alfa initially revealed this car, they mentioned a few times that this “will be a future collectible” which I think they use as reasoning to sell it at that price, plus by saying that it’s going to be a collectible, I think the target audience is different and therefore won’t have as much competition than a comparable car, as in their eyes this car is a “collectible”, but since an M4 isnt, it won’t interest them

It's crazy you need perfect circumstances to get a better 0-60 time than 5 seconds for a car that costs a 155k.

Yeah, it's pretty hard to make a perfect launch. You gotta' know the car. First, never launch in Dynamic mode. It limits the power output. Alfa doesn't say, but if you press the gas pedal at 100%, when you reach 130km/h, you feel the change from 350-400 to 510hp in a normal QV. It's like there's a second boost kicking in. Only in RACE mode you have the full beans all the time. Second, and this is Mat's fault, as he's a professional, you gotta' short shift first gear when the boost kicks in, or just launch in second gear, as M3 does as standard. A lot of people don't know you can launch QVs in second gear. Third, and this is the hardest, you gotta' nail the brake boost. If you let it boost too much, it will start to make a burnout and there goes your 0-60. I might be biased, as I own a QV, but I really like it this way. I can do sub 3s 0-60 all day every day in the TurboS and feel almost nothing. But when I see 3.8 in my Alfa, I know that's all me. And it feels absolutely great.
