The car doesn't look that spectacular, but it's nice to drive and makes a good first impression from the inside. Gear shift is a problem in a lot of smaller cars, but here it's very easy, intuitive and smooth. I liked it from the beginning when I drove it.

I actually own this car, red body with a black roof and it’s great to drive. Only tiny complaint I have is with the placement of the cup holders, if you have a flask in there for example it can get in the way of the handbrake. Other than that’s I love it

Ive got the Gt line version of this right now doesn't have heated seats. But it seems to have a lithium battery in the boot so must be a sort of mild hybrid. It has a better screen. Its bigger and all the buttons are along the bottom. The boot is tiny really. And i dont think its any taller than a mk2 ford focus.

I have a new Rio with this trim. Tested the Stonic and it back to back, Rio is basically the same car but much cheaper and it has the same equipment. Get it and save yourself 5k.

We just bought the Stonic 2 to replace a 2009 Mazda 3 Sport and despite is being effectively a base model I prefer it. Its cheap to run and insure, it drives nicely enough and whilst it might be a bit down on power over the Mazda it does the job, its got enough to confidently over take tractors on country roads or blast past people who think joining a dual carriageway at 30 mph is acceptable. The 2 has everything I wanted -DAB radio, Apple Car Play and cruise control, the rest I don't care about - haven't missed climate control or heated seats which are so over rated. Not a KIA fanboy either, first time I've considered one after years of being given them as courtesy cars from Mazda and hating the way they drove, this latest generation it much nicer.

I have the 1.4 and I have to say its a bit underpowered, Im getting around 39 to 40mpg but the 1ltr 3 cldr was even worse, saying that the car is very comfortable to drive on a daily basis infotainment system is easy to use. All round its a comfortable car. Rear view mirror gets in the way quite a lot. There is a lip in the boot but do you want your luggage sliding out when you open the boot?

​@arthursuttie424 not just the seat belt it beeps for everything. Door open, ignition on. Lights on. If the back seats are down mine tells me to check back seats. To start you have to press clutch brake and be in neutral, or it beeps.

Pretty Fresh and good looking. I particularly like how they added all these small details like the storage for sunglasses etc. - They were thinking how can we solve this while keeping the price fairly low. I would take this over a Citroen Cactus.

This video helped me in picking this car. I have the 2019 1.4. I just wanna say that I'm completely happy with my choice, but there is one problem i have with the car and that is the clutch. Finding the biting point is quite difficult and i had a problem with it for the longest time. The drive off is not smooth if I don't focus a lot. Changing gears, even going from 6 to 5 is not always smooth. Oh and driving on 1 is impossible, I don't even know how to describe it. (Btw this doesn't happen to me in any other car I've driven so far, so it's not my fault, if you were wondering lmao) Okay that sounded more like "one problem", but overall it's a good car. I traveled with it on freeways, drove it to castles on hills and there isn't a thing this car failed at. It drives uphill very nicely even with passangers and a trunk full of stuff, it has nice acceleration, precise steering and really nice suspension. I also love the interior, even though it's not big, there is still quite a lot of space, especially in the front. The trunk can also carry quite a lot. That's it from me🤞

I bought 1.4 Manual and I am really content with it as well! It sits very well on the road.. I don't know about the touchscreen thought, mine works perfectly.. its fast and everything (I am usually quite picky about the touchscreens and response rates) however mine does not have NAV and I am using apple car play, it works very well with it.

Vanessa Oelmann couldn't agree more with you. In a VAG car everything is exactly where you expect it to be. And dispite some lack of attention on some models, no one beats vw group on interior quality. When this channel reviewed the Mercedes S class it said that the Audi A8 was edging it on quality. I think that says it all.
