I am very positively surprised by the car physics. I don't understand why so many people don't like these. I would even say it's more realistic than arcade. You can't assume that if you're driving at 190 km/h you'll be able to make a 45 degree turn without any problems. You can't assume that a rear-wheel drive car will continue driving normaly after a fast corner without traction problems. I'm positive about the future for this game.

Yeah im also surprised by the physics. I hoped that it won't be like carx drift and yeah it feels different thanks god. I didn't drove high hp cars yet buy anyways handling feels kinda ok even on a wheel. I was thinkin it'll be like a new JDM game on a wheel, which was kinda understeery and horrible but not. Hope they will fix H shifter and handbrake issue(idk maybe someone got this problem, i can't assign my handbrake as axis sadly)

I got the game yesterday, and I've been having fun on it, the map and traffic are brilliant and what's needed for open world games. The wheel play is also pretty good and while graphically it may not be as polished as AAA titles, for over half the price it's a great deal.

Hell yeah bro 69 that's something to be proud of. i feel like the progression of speed and the weight of the cars is deceptive you feel you should be able to throw it in a corner it feels like this should grip and go but its always just on the edge of control and you slide out. i guess what im trying to say is for Street there is sweet spot and then there is a WTF spot. or i think Goosiest just wants to do 100 mph in every turn max speed.

Grip tune for sprint and circuit race : Use racing 5+ or 10+ tyre stretched tyres skits ( at least my car started slipping) Use sports tyre till c2 clubs. For c3 clubs use sports+ tyres. For c4 and above use racing+ tyres And you can get the tyres cheap from gas stations or garages

As someone who does both grip and drift on AC, I think the physics is hitting the right spot for a simcade, every inputs are predictable and to be expected. The FFB is a bit rough but it still acceptable. There is however a forced spin out when you crash into other cars and I really hate that

That r35 event is crazy hard. If you would see the pos you were in at the end you would be somewhere at 1000+... You have to now hit the building so you fly out and have perfect speed all the time its crazy. Btw Going a bít left and then through the trees in the beginning is the fastest route .. keeping 205 km/h all the way to gasstation..

For everyone complaining about the handling. Each car has it's own handling characteristics and can drive really good. You just have to actually learn the handling characteristics of your car and which cars are best for specific events. The Civic is best for Grip racing (Circuit & Sprint). The Pickup truck is best for Drift racing. The Miata is OK for Grip & Drift racing since it is the jack of all trades. OK at both Grip and Drift but master of none. The AI literally tells you this when you're selecting your 1st car. Just like the cars, the tires play a major role in the handling. Street tires are best for drifting, Racing tires are best for Grip racing and Sport tires are OK at both. Every streamer I've seen so far goes grip racing with the street (Drift) tires and no tunning in a Miata and then complain that the car loses traction too often of understeers too much when they go 160 km/h (99.4 mph) into a 45 degree turn. To combat understeer, upgrade/tune your car. This games handling is more simcade than you think. Especially compared to it's mobile counterpart which is SUPER arcady so keep that in mind.

I've got about 6 hours in it. It's a great game, and the more you progress the better your car tuning is. It's very different to car x drift, imagine if the physics were the same in this game, you'd be driving on ice the entire time 😂 I have about 300 hours in both assetto and CXD, and so far I'm loving CXS
