I can totally agree with that. I'm not an architect but i worked for an online shop that sold designer furniture, mostly italien, scandinavian, french and german brands. First i was like "what is so special about those brands besides the price" and then i quickly experienced the quality and the look and feel is something you can not find in the casual furniture stores. My "it blows my mind moment" came when i sat the first time in an "Freifrau" - "Leya Cocktail Lounge Chair"....i was the most comfy chair i have ever sat in...if you have the chance to sit in one (not the leather ones) try it out. =)
