what kind of grass do you feed them? I am trying to get my birds to eat greens. They only eat my peace lily plant and they aren't supposed too. Even my vet says it's not good for them to eat them.

I don't know the names of the grasses I'm afraid.

in such a big aviary How do you get them used to you i have 3 Tiels in a indoor Macaw cage only one of them wants anything to do with me the other 2 just stick to themselves and are classified as semi tame
@CockatielCompanion7 жыл бұрын
Some of them were tame to begin with and they taught the others. Plus I go in there everyday and they know I have the best food.

Love it! Does the pheasantasium have a strong smell?
@CockatielCompanion8 жыл бұрын
No.

Thanks. I hoping to build a aviary for cockatiel and was just wondering.
@bubbler8917 жыл бұрын
Ray Lee the plants and "live floor" will always help with the smell of an aviary the poop is fertilising the plants and being used by the ground. Strong smells are normally a result of over crowding.

So your a breader? And if so do you need a licence to sell and breed them?
@CockatielCompanion7 жыл бұрын
Hi, No I am not a breeder, our birds breed, but I don't sell them. I live in NZ and as far as I am aware you do not need any licence to breed or sell most birds but this may be different here you live.
