Casablanca Panama on Varible Speed Control

Here is my Casablanca panama on a Varible speed control Enjoy :) rate comment and subscribe. DISCLAIMER: The switch I'm using is a Lutron variable speed control not a dimmer switch. dimmer switches are for lights and variable speed controller is for fans. if anyone says that this fan is on a dimmer switch the comment will be removed and you be ignored. its not a dimmer switch its a solid state variable speed control from lutron. Im sick of hearing these comments that its a dimmer switch ITS NOT!!!!!

I just want to let you know that Panama uses an XLP-2000 motor which is an 18 pole motor, and 18 pole motors are safe for solid state speed control.

yea I took it off but even before I put it on that speed control it makes that noise. and the Casablanca in my friends old house did the same noise and this fan was also from my friends old house

I have a harborbreeze springfield 2 and it’s running on a dimmer because I put it on 220volts and I took the speed chain out because I took it overseas can I run it for a long time?

i didn't put it on there because it was temporary and I couldn't get the ball off of the downrod
