Well demonstrated but a clear glass cup would have shown the frothing process and how the espresso shot mixed into froth.

Question - is the double cappuccino made with doule shot espresso and a single made with single shot? I want a double shot cappuccino with less milk. How do i get that?

Yes it’s made with a double shot and you would just add less milk to the frothing reservoir.

Do you have to do a warm up cycle first because if you don't the coffee wont come out hot enough the first time?

Nice unit, except it has a hot plastic smell coming from the black connector tube of the milk frother unit.

Is that with your first use? I ran a few water cycles then used the machine with milk. I didn’t notice a smell.

@@RowesRising Hi, no on the 3rd clean cycle. I cleaned it with water a few times and the water smelled like plastic. Afraid to try it with milk. Will keep rinsing and pray it's gone soon. Argh

I had to replace my first one as it was dropped in shipping. I have not had any trouble since. Reliable for me.

I have one of these machines. I REGRET MAKING THE PURCHASE. It quit working after 3 weeks. You can't CALL Casabrews, you email them. I'm still waiting. There are other machines out there. I would avoid Casabrews.
