I had seen this technique done before, but didn't really know how to do it. Thank you for making this tutorial.

What a clear, step-by-step explanation. I'm blown away and am convinced that I actually could learn this! Thank you, Yaakov! Truly brilliant!

I have been just taping the harmonic in the shape of whatever chord im fretting, however this technique Yaakov, allows a much brighter sound to come out. Plus the guitar you have has exceptionally great harmonics. Again excellent explanation ❤

I'm glad you're finding the technique helpful. I think the harmonics sound great on all guitars, but the one I use definitely has a special sound.

Great explanation, Yaakov. It's commonly done in classical (finger style) playing and Canadian jazz guitarist Lenny Breau used it often in his solos. It looks more difficult the way you play it with a pick, though.

Tommy Emmanuel is a master of that too

Thank you so much for the video. I struggled with this technique with no results at all for so many years after listening to Eric Johnson and never passed the stage of the open harmonics. Finally I have a chord (wich I often use, go figure) to start trying it again!
