I really wish the best for Doc, I hope he gets better soon. That's more important than any tractor. Junior Mint sounds like needs to stand in a corner for awhile. But it is a pretty nice tractor. I'm glad you decided to save it. Maybe things will sell better when the harvest season winds down and the bins are full then it will be tillage time and things are bound to move faster.

You use to able to get a wire harness for them unplug the old and plug new in anyone owns a case shut put a cut off switch on the they were prone after wiring done by battery would cause a fire when I replaced mine I got extra cond and put it on harness take cover off bat box glue a old rubber tube on tin underside of cover and throw a piece of rubber on top battery I put ten to 15000 on my case after that with out a problem good tract if you maintain them and not a busy them when using them on pto make sure you put in park always not good for power shift in gear read manual no how to keep power shift adjusted and lube cable I never put a powershft in one also never powershft down without pulling a load like running in road gear powershifting down to stop to turn that's a no no ! I'm not in the market for another tractor right now, but I've spent MANY hours in 2290s and they are excellent, well-built tractors. I'd much rather deal with whatever wiring issues it may have than with the electronics of a newer tractor. Seems like a good deal for a tractor and loader package. GLWS.

Scrap it. Hahaha. Just find you a case guy. Someone willing to put a little time into it. The wiring needs to be fixed though. Need a wiring guy.
