A 580C is a good backhoe which is easy to work on. Brake issues are common as the Differential 1/2 shaft seals or Differential lock seal leaks and oil gets int to the brakes. All parts are available but it is a job to replace all the brake pads, shoes, seals, cylinders, etc. Mainly as you have to (or should) pull the floor pan for good access to all the parts. Get the manual and go from there.
