Case 580SK g'box clean out

Looking at the condition of the components going in that gearbox you must have a super parts washer.

Hi, I have a case 580 sk, what oil to pour into the gearbox? atf 2D ? is utto sae 10w 30 ? Thank you very much helpful videos

Hi Kacper4x412, the workshop manual says to use 'Case Hytrans Plus', I have used the Mobil equivalent 'Mobilfluid 428 multipurpose tractor oil (utto) and power steering fluid' (wow, that's a big long title, but that's what's on the drum!!!). The transaxle has wet clutch packs, and wet brakes, so make sure the oil you use is compatible for this application. Hope this helps, good luck!!
