This program is so well done, heads above most other, the narrator keeps me mesmerized. I can't believe I live in the Minneapolis metro and never heard of this case. Creepy how a religious doctrine meant to make their sheep stay in the flock can turn some into wolves.

I have too many years with true crime. I thought it was the husband from the beginning. But what a twisted story! I feel so sorry for son, Joe, and the grandparents.

Sadly , I feel the same way poor Amy seems to be a genuine loving kind Christian lady her husband was a none practising Christian very sad .thou shall not commit adultery thou shall not commit murder didn't seem to faze him 😢

I think the husband was suspect when he kept saying she committed suicide when there had been past threats made against her, a truthful person would keep the idea of it being a murder an open possibility

Dude was an IT expert, his devices would have presented as totally clean during any initial investigation from the FBI, the Police had to do a deep dive, restoring fragmented data and sifting through all the backup data to actually uncover any evidence and the emails definitely did a good job of casting suspicion away from him.

No it had to do with religions blinding spell of ignorance over people. Someone cheats they make a mistake they either move on or reconcile in a logical world, they dont order a hit over the dark web and murder their wife when it doesn't go through

This was one case that the police let slip through the cracks. Always, they suspect the spouse as the most likely, but maybe due to the husband's position in his religion and the whole family's involvement with it, they let down their guard this time. When it was said that their church allows no divorce under any circumstances, that's when I suspected the husband as being behind it.
