Becoz it increases the hyperosmolar state and it worsens by absorbing more water into the bleed area,,and further increses 👍🏻❤️

Dextrose normal saline rapid infusion can result in osmotic diuresis which leads to lactate production and there by lactic acidosis ..This inturn results in hyperglycemia ischemic brain injury raised icp and eventually leads to infections..so dextrose is basically avoided.
