For those of you around the world that don't know, Saskatchewan, though part of Canada, has a climate much like California and they harvest 3 crops a year.😅
@brianzybura863329 күн бұрын
Sagecrockett693, you are entirely wrong. Saskatchewan Canada DOES NOT have the same climate as California. Farmers in Saskatchewan typically can only grow one crop of wheat, barley and canola per year. They cannot begin working their fields until about mid May at the earliest. Their harvests usually ends by late September, sometimes early October. The only crop that they can possibly grow that might over winter is fall wheat--I may not be sure of that. The usual winter in Saskatchewan is very cold with plenty of snow from early November until the following mid April. Really no such thing as Saskatchewan being able to grow three crops a year. You must have had a real dumb school teacher.
