My best friend has 2 MX-170s they are very strong tractors they share 8910 rear end components, plenty of tillage work, pulling a forage harvester, and McHale fusion round baler in steep hills without duals.

I have a 1660 and i cannot keep the grain in that combine anymore, it used to be great, changed sieves and definitely not header loss. Picked up a 2188 this year and that thing might throw out 1/4bu/ac. Don’t know whats wrong with the 1660 but that doesn’t matter anymore. It was the backup combine to our 7120 and now the 2188 is the backup but don’t need to leave it sit in the yard just in case, it does such a good job we run both at the same time now

Take the case off of the nameplate and it will perform better

Deere stole great idea off of IHC .Please get some education before you make a total fool of yourself.JD copies off everybody .

@@interman7715 settle down I’m just stirring the pot. JD did have a rotary prototype in the late 50s. Never made it to production.

@@JohnSmith-iz4ur Everybody had a go at it from about the 1920s ,but none took the financial risk and put the effort into it like IHC .JD just bagged IHC out and swore rotary threshing was no good and would never make one ,twenty years on they waited till the patents run out and copied IHC to the letter .
