Case interview mistakes can make the difference between getting a consulting offer and getting a rejection. As a former Bain consultant and interviewer, I’ve given practice case interviews to nearly a hundred different candidates. What shocked me the most was that no matter what resources candidates used to prepare, whether that was reading prep books or using online resources, 90% of the feedback I gave was exactly the same!

the biggest mistake I made today which you should never do -- proceeding interview with unclear understanding regarding the question / business ... it will take you to the hell.. even you have an ability to solve, it will be disaster as you will not be able to understand what the interviewer is talking about...
