When the owner wanted to start Goff, regardless if Keenum had a good game or not, I thought... This happened right when Keenum started to get hot. This guy deserves to keep playing. I'm glad he got another shot and is doing well. I was happy to see his team defeat the Rams. Good Luck to him, I hope he's allowed to finish the season!

Great video I'm glad he's finally gotten the chance he deserves, been following him for his whole career and thought he could be a top QB just never got a real chance to compete....Texans he was in and out, with the rams they had a terrible receiving and line while at the same time just waiting for an excuse to put in Goff. Actually made me a little emotional. Growing up, I was born into the purple, and spent a lot of my time either at the Metrodome or watching the game on tv. For an even bigger chunk of my life, I grew up in Keenums hometown at his school district. It's one thing to see a high school star from your school playing backup for Los Angeles or Houston, but i will never forget that day in March where I got the notification that Case had signed with the Vikings. I remember one of my friends calling me and telling me that Case unfortunately had to cancel dinner with my friend's dad and hop on a plane to Minneapolis hours before. However, I never expected him to play because I didn't think Sam would go down and if he did, I thought surely Teddy would be back in time to take the reins. At one point Case Keenum was a back up at U of H. All he did was shatter a bunch of NCAA records and will end of in the CHOF. Now he appears to be adjusting the NFL. He is hitting targets in rhythm and seeing the field better than any back up I have ever watched. He could start for any team right now. Its time to end the debate and look towards winning championships.

Joseph Rennard Its crazy that the all time NCAA leader in many categories went undrafted. He should have been given a shot as some teams started for at least 2 seasons and if he sucked then so be it. But he's never been given a fair shot until now hopefully! Texans threw him in there after schaub was sucking and he actually started off with back to back 100 passer rating games then had some tough outings but was a ROOKIE on a terrible team. Texans gave up on him and he never had a chance to show what he could do. The rams started him so that the #1 overall pick could adjust and learn. He was never going to be part of their plans. Rams were by far the worst offense in the league but check out keenums game in detroit in the rams pretty legit considering circumstances. He showed signed of greatness at times in his limited chances. Now he's in a stable place and they're 2nd in the NFC in large part to keenum.

Yards per Game is Better than Wentz, Completion percentage is Better than Wentz, Yards per attempt is the Same as Wentz, Interception percentage is the Same as Wentz. what a bullshit from Carter. while I understand where questioning keenum as starter comes from, he hasn't been more than average before, however, his thoughts on Bridgewater being superior are ridiculous. Bridgewater always been just average qb with lots of flaws, noodle arm, inaccuracy on long passes, inability to score in redzone, strange mechanics, too much check downs. Bridgewater had a chance to show his skills in playoffs game against Seahawks. zero td's means he failed. I've seen enough of teddy and I'm pretty sure he aint gonna win SB in his career, he just doesn't have it. I want to see keen what is he capable of in playoffs, in those critical moments you have to win it against tough opponent. you just have to test case this year. any discussion whether teddy should start are just stupid. There is a chance Case can pull Eli or Flacco i.e. they are generally average but once they peak they can win it all with good defense. In 2015 the Vikings won the NFC North with an 11 - 5 record because of Teddy. Same team, without Teddy, the Vikings muster an 8 - 8 record in 2016. Teddy was the difference, his QB rating in the 4th quarter when down by 7 or fewer points in 2015 was 113.5. I'm all for Case and hope he keeps winning but we haven't seen him play from behind in the 4th quarter yet. If/when that time comes, I hope Case comes through in the clutch like Teddy has proven able to do.

As a Viking fan for nearly 20 years, I will be very disappointed if the Vikes went with Bridgewater or Bradford next season over Keenum. The dude played for his life all season like a boss and was very humble about it. Bridgewater is an awesome human being, but from what I see so is Case, and I've watched many interviews with many players from NFL, NBA, and MLB. Doesn't take rocket science to see good character. Based off both that and his current level of play with his current team and players, I don't see how it would be wise to go another direction, even if the Vikes don't get the super bowl. You play the QB who is CURRENTLY performing awesome for your team and is able to build chemistry, have strong awareness on the field, and be a leader. Case has done that this season, thusly it should be his job to loose PERIOD. Which should be theoretically great for the Vikings because Bridgewater and Bradford (If healthy) are valuable assets for the team in ways of both trade value and/or keeping a backup. Keeping Keenum and figuring out how to maximize value from Bridgewater/Bradford should be a major priority moving forward.

Vikings made a terrible mistake in letting Case Kenumm walk. They didn't even attempted to off him a contract given the magical year he had with 2017 Vikings. When you go all in a QB (Kirk Cousins) it almost never works out. I couldn't believe it when Cris Carter said Teddy was better than Case, and that Case would never be a starter. He took the the Vikes to the NFC championship game, and Carter still didn't care. He had his mind made up. Well, even the Jets didn't want Teddy. Granted, Case isn't elite, but he started for Denver this year so Carter was proven wrong at least on that point. A vastly improved o line and one of the league's best rushing attacks have helped him improve his career numbers dramatically this year. This isn't just reflected in Case's numbers (he's improved his career ANY/A by 1.4 yards per attempt this year), but Bradford's ANY/A improved by 2.4 yards per attempt prior to injury. This is one well rounded team (offensively and defensively), and Case is making the most of it!

GSGP Awesome job brother, keep collecting the clips, get back to his U of Houston days, then his 3 stints in the NFL so you can do PART 2 after Case gets the Lombardi Trophy in his hands along with an extension to be the Vikes QB for the next 5 years at least, no offense to TB however no way he goes in and plays like Case.....just love the FIRE in that mans play.

Where is Case Keenums neck??? Seriously I'm not trying to troll, it looks like his shoulder pads are lined up with his ears.......He's really not that good, I can't believe everyone is talking about giving him MVP over Wentz(yes I know Wentz is injured)

No one else wanted Keenum, Adam Thielen went undrafted, Stefan Diggs was a 5th rounder... hahahahahahaahaaha "expert NFL evaluators" is an oxymoron. Either that or Pat Shurmer is the next Bill Walsh. Or else Teddy would have 400 yards and 5TD games in this offense. Naturally the NFL execs will believe Shurmer is the next Don Coryell because to think otherwise would be to admit no one has a clue and they can't accept that, so Shurmer will be the next head coach and take Keenum or Bradford with him next year.

I think Case Keenum is doing pretty solid. He's not great, he has a great team around him and he has extremely high morale right now. We know what that element can do to even a subpar player - we saw it with Ryan Fitzpatrick, who played extremely well while the tide was high for the Jets. We saw it for Nick Foles who played extremely well in general until the entire league caught on and then he launched into trash. I don't think he should be benched right now. The team flows around him, which is something you really can't voluntarily allow, you either see it happen or you try your best to make the conditions for it to happen. The only two players in the NFL that can make it happen on a whim are Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady. Even Peyton Manning couldn't do it. So when it happens like it's happening for Case, you don't bench him. But the tide will pull back, it always pulls back. Unless Case wins 10 superbowl rings and the Vikings lose 4 games in the next decade, the tide will always fall away. And we'll see the reason Case Keenum is "Backup" That's when Teddy should get his chance. Don't do Case dirty, don't do the team dirty. Teddy is better, it's really without a question. But Teddy can't force it just like most QBs can't force team symmetry. So while Case has the magic touch, let him do his thing.

Yet another victim of Jeff Fisher coaching. As a Rams fan, I couldn't stand Keenum. He was trash in STL/LA... but like most Rams, it turns out it really wasn't his fault at all. Glad to see he escaped and is playing well. #HornsUp! #GoRams!

Keenum has 14 TDs and 5 INTs this year in 9.5 games. Bridgewater threw for 14 TDs and 9 INTs in 16 games in the entire 2015 season. The surrounding pieces may be better, who knows by how much, but I don't understand why so many people seem to think Teddy is a sure thing when he has been strictly average so far in his career. Cris Carter talking about Keenum being average, what stats show Teddy is a better option?

As a Rams fan, I always thought he was a decent quarterback. He made mistakes, but mistakes pretty much were synonymous with Jeff Fisher. I think Goff is doing great, but I would have loved to see Keenum under Sean McVay.

This video shows just how much the NFL talking heads (like Skip Bayless) know - which is next to nothing. Keenum threw for over 19K yards in college - a record that will likely never be broken. He is a gunslinger and the Vikings will win the Super Bowl because of him - not in spite.

He's made me a beleiver and I'm looking forward to the next 2 against the Falcons & Panthers which are away games. They had one of the toughest schedules coming out of their bye week. It was Redskins, Rams, Lions, which we know they already won with Falcons & Panthers next. 4 of them being road games. They went 3-0 so far so hopefully they keep up the momentum and shock the world! As a Vikings fan I know not to get to excited but it's great to know they might truly have a shot .

Technically, Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady were back up QBs so why are people throwing around the term "backup QB" Case Keenum and Nick Foles were starters before this season so I don't get it.

I cried watching this, Case have been underrated and he didn't say anything about what other people say.... He played well and those winning TD for the teams makes noise, now look back to those underestimated him... They're adoring him lmao.... Go Case Go Minnesota vikings Go purple people

Cris Carter 🤔 he was a viking and says "he will always be a professional back-up", that's messed up. Yes, his stats weren't very good with other teams but he was also with the wrong organization. He is a leader now and hopefully this team keeps him! Case closed!! ~ Skol vikes!!
