I absolutely love the Hercule Poirot stories. And for me there is only one Hercule Poirot, Sir David Suchet.

To listen 'back' while knowing Suchet's iconic Poirot portrayal is to me like driving a Model T while fully aware of today's car abilities. We can appreciate past and present both.

Thank you for the upload. It's very pleasing to find something like this. Although I've been a lifelong Christie fan, I had no idea she'd written specifically for the American radio market. Comparing this to BBC Radio plays of hers was interesting. It's impressive that she captured the different speech patterns so well because I'm fairly sure she was only in America once, as a very young woman, with her first husband, and even then it was a very brief visit to only a couple of cities(it was a extensive business trip for husband Archie) So, once again, many thanks. PS I hope there are to be more. It seemed too that this might not be the first one? Since M Poirot was already well known to the Inspector? PS liked and subbed, looking forward to more
