This must've been a dream come true for Stephen. His love for the ocean came about from Cousteau's show in the 60s. And then he was able to collaborate with him all those years later. Rest in piece Mr. Hillenburg.

1:53 That one looks like SpongeBob. It's square and it's yellow. 3:17 Maybe, a week. 3:26 Patrick did show some aggression in some of the episodes. 3:55 I saw that habit in one episode. 4:33 A whole bunch of real life planktons, but no copepods. 4:54, 5:06 Inspiration for the show's jellyfish. 5:01 Inspiration for Gary. 7:01 Years later, and we don't have an arrow crab character. 7:23 That little octo looks like Squidward. It even has Squidward's skin color and the big nose. 9:05 Wow. 9:50 That's cute. 10:48 That definitely looks like the wasteland from the movie. 12:27 I'm sure SpongeBob won't worry about this diver.
