I would sure like to see you pull a serialized shock just to see one. I also fear that if the numbers of production they told distributors is true, i wish you good luck. The pull rate is ridiculous @ .16%

Unfortunately I don’t think they will. They have the entire shock land cycle and all their variants, which 5-6 of are basically guaranteed in a collector box. Dom remastered didn’t really have that guaranteed value, so the box’s had a much lower floor.

Seeing these collector packs opened makes me not want to buy a box. The packs seem so redundant, so boring to open, always the same things, mostly lands, same creatures because of the slots, only 2 foils out of only 4 rares most of the time... it's really boring The fact that you mostly get the shock lands just makes it even worse, cause instead of having 4 chances at rares, it feels like getting 3 chances at rares, and 1 shock land almost assured This is gonna make the lands so cheap now, and the value of the box is gonna come down to "did you get lucky and get something else than a shockland AND in the foil slot?" This feels like it's the lottery more than ever, and with there being only 4 rares, it's even worse! The slots could have at least been Foil borderless/Borderless/Foil Retro/Retro/Normal Foil, that would have been 5 rares assured, and one more chance to get something DIFFERENT... Ravnica is this special set that is just amazing, but they completely destroyed it with this one. What a bad way to start 2024 for Magic
