I can't wait to see this video! However, I wanted to suggest something for you guys to try ^^ with all the different versions of certain cards(Nilissa, Omnath, etc), what if you guys did a round of commander with only using different versions of one commander? For example, one person could have Omnath, Locus of all, another having Omnath, Locus of Creation, Omnath, Locus of Rag, Omnath Locus of Roil. Then everyone has to make a deck focused around those characters but they can't have any of those other commanders within their deck. This idea may have a few holes in it- but I wanted to suggest it still! Have a great evening and keep up the amazing work!
@jackgebhardt293211 ай бұрын
The Omnath one sounds really funny.
@eventuelleon74811 ай бұрын
but do you have a 95 card deck or just a normal 99 with 5 Commanders? I like this idea
@TheBoss-vg2hw11 ай бұрын
I was thinking about how it can work, there’s a few ways you could do it. Each person could have each versions of those commanders then lower the amount of cards in their deck by how many commanders they have, I’d say they need at least 2-3 versions of that commander just so no one just puts a single version of the creature in. You can also do the same thing where each player still has 99 cards and that amount of commanders. You can also do it where each person has one version of that creature, like I said before, someone can have Omnath, Locus of Rage, another Locus of Roil, another Locus of Creation, another Locus of all. Then no one else in the game can add those creatures to their deck so everyone has their commanders a bit unique but also have slightly similar cards, relying on strategy and deck creation. Lastly, you could do a sortve commander bank. Where you put all of the versions of the commanders in the middle and everyone can use any cards that are in the within the color combination of the commander with the highest amount(example, Omnath, Locus of all would allow everyone to use all colors that he has) then everyone is in a sortve brawl to get the commander version they want, first person to pay for the commander keeps it till it dies then it goes back to the commander bank but costs 2 more to cost. Max amount of commanders that each person can have is 1-2, make it even so everyone can get one commander version. If anyone else has any questions then I can try to explain better if needed
@TheBoss-vg2hw11 ай бұрын

Joey mentioned a format I've only dreamed of, chronological commander. I pictured the 4-5 diff mishras and 4-5 different urzas in the command zone in a stack, starting from their earliest depictions to their later forms, and they have a legendary rule applied of "only 1 of each legendary creature with a super name" so only 1 urza, 1 mishra on the field at a time. And as you cast them it reveals their next form which you can cast and it sacs the previous form. Get to see the brothers start as weak chumps until they hit their "ultimate form"
