Hello Sir , My mother was suffered from scrub typhus, she expired. She was only 58 years old . She got fever and typhoid test came positive , Doctor gave her typhoid med. then after 2-3 days she had urine infection . So take urine infection antibiotics. After 4-5 days of medication, she was not improving. She can’t walk because of leg pain , she talk very slow or feel tired to talk . We thought its because of weakness. After 2 days she could not pass the urine , we admitted her in hospital. Dr told us her kidneys are not working, they put her on dialysis, after 1 hour she was breathless , so doctor put her on ventilator. Then again they put her on dialysis after that she died because of cardiac arrest . Her scrub typhus test came positive .

A 21 year old male patient complaint about fever 15 days back . The fever last for 2 days .He took paracetamol at home but not consulted the doctor . Then he had rash 10 days back which was controlled by antihistaminics for 2 days . Then 5 days back he had slight non pitting pedal edema with pain in the foot .He was not able to stand properly. What is the probable cause? And what are the investigations required ?

UTI is their but she is not having burning micturition?Fever is their since 14 days Body temperature is 101F,SGPT and SGOT is elevated but USG is normal no sign of hepatomegaly,splenomegaly, electrolytes counts are normal and no hyperglycaemia,CRP is also normal.First I thought it’s dengue then Typhoid but widal is negative.Please upload the final results after biopsy.

Sir there is no history of any head trauma. Then why GCS be considered a part of history taking. It can not predict the outcome in this case.
