Case Study - Use Power Automate to Email Fully Customised PowerPoint Outputs of Power BI Reports

Learn how to use the Power Automate 'Export To File for Power BI Reports' action to generate a PowerPoint presentation output of your Power BI reports.
In this video, I'll talk you through the steps required to create your own customised Power BI subscriptions.
I'll explain how to use Power Automate to generate a PowerPoint file with the pages you choose and the filters you require. I'll then explain how to set up a system that attaches the PowerPoint report to an email and automatically sends this email every week (or whenever you choose!)
Note: You need to have a Premium per/capacity license to be able to use the Export To File for Power BI Report actions in Power Automate.

Just a quick question. If we need to send to multiple people in one Department's shall we use ";" between the email addressed or we need to create another row with same Department?

Hey Jason, Thanks for the Video. My requirement is different here; can you please help me on this. I have a Power Bi Report and in that multiple pages are there ; in each page the Users are common and they have different services and their respective values. All the users have their email in separate list. Now each page in power bi I want to sent them email; During this email process ( If Person A is one of the user ; he should get all his services along with values to those services only in email as screenshot without changing conditional formatting applied in power bi) like this each user will get all the services belongs to them. And the complete report we will give as link. if Person-A wants to see report he can go an check the report by using link Provided.

Ye, its a pain. Unfortunately you need to have premium capacity to use the power automate action to create a power bi report. It doesn't even work if you have premium per user.

I am absolutely throw back from automate. This is so NOT user friendly, made for core developers, not for a regular user. No idea how to make a simple task. Copying all the urls part...who will know why and how to do this. Crazy. But thank you for sharing your knowledge

I know, I agree, it's not really suitable for someone without at least a bit of coding know how, particularly this use case.
