I love The Wizard of Oz and especially the witch-melting scene. But frankly, these were all pretty terrible... And the one with the strippers just left me speechless. LOL.

Though being TOO expressive can backfire as well. I once saw a performance of a more faithful to the book version (as in one where the Witch actually managed to take one of Dorothy's shoes) where the person playing the Witch became some expressive in her death throes that, when she finally collapsed, she sent the shoe she was holding flying across the theater, and they had to stretch out the bit between the melting and the end of the scene while a stagehand went to retrieve it.
