IN MY OPINION, Jim hired Bruce to kill Bonnie so he would get the insurance money, he could sell the lodge and carry on with his life. I think he knew Bonnie was having an affair. Their marriage was unhappy and not as rosy as it appeared. Then Jim killed Bruce thinking he would get away scott-free.

my favorite piece of new true crime information was the second trial of Jim Hood introducing jurors from first trial as witnesses to prove that the defendant was lying in his second trial. That is first class work from prosecution. That is making the system work to overcome flaws in procedure.
