CaseIH 8555 In-line Square Baler and 8480 Round Baler (1990)

Nice baler......I no longer bale alfalfa hay during a warm, dry day. There is lots of leaf loss as the leaves are dry and brittle in a warm, dry atmosphere. I start baling only in the late evening, after dark, 11pm-1am, when the alfalfa has taken on some moisture from the air. I'll bale till sunrise into early morning until the crop becomes too dry and leaf loss begins to increase. Hay quality is greatly increased along with feed value.

The guy driving the tractor with the round baler in the beginning was running over his windrow.
