Hard to describe just how gifted Casey is. One person in every life time comes along with the perfect gift and talent. Casey in my opinion is that person for my lifetime. Great job!

Casey Driessen-my new favorite violinist. Absolutely sick. Most innovative way I have seen someone play this thing!! 5 string and a sick looper--I want his sound setup!!

Casey Driessen is a legend! The way this video was done...what a truly great eccentric (!) musician. Edgy attack, catchy rhythms and beautiful melodic lines. All from one guy in one take. I think there are no limits to what he can do!!!

Really impressive vision on this, Casey- and as usual, you show one of the most highly developed senses of rhythm I've ever heard. The way you bring that to the fiddle is amazing.

The functionality of a piece of gear really influences musical arrangement. The Rang III gives lots of great options and each arrangement is created in part because of what is available...it's like a puzzle that I enjoy putting together. Cheers!

I'm a fiddler and I would like to get some help with what kind of mic/pick-up he uses here and also pre-amp. It looks like the microphone is a DPA, but the pick-up is that a Schertler DYN-G Set (eventhough it's designed for banjos)? Any help would be appreciated :) Kindly, Thyge

@godzillal1233213 жыл бұрын
I am but not good at it I understand and can perform most bow forms and hold an ok level of vibrato I own a decent violin and bow ($600 for the bow And $2500 for my violin ) I wish to learn to be a better fiddler only to be one of the best luthiers out there I just dont know where to start where it comes to learning build and buying the luthier tools.
@CaseyDriessenMusic3 жыл бұрын
@@godzillal123321 I don't know the lutherie world, but I would suggest investigating if you have a violin (or other stringed instrument) maker in the area. Without knowing your age or location, I'll share this article from Strings Magazine (geared towards teens in the US) with some good tips that might give you some ideas: stringsmagazine.com/two-violin-makers-offer-advice-on-the-path-to-lutherie-school/ Cheers!
