This was hands down Casey's best performance to date!!!!!!!!! I would actually play this on my ipod. He finally SANG from his heart. I liked Jealous Man but this was even better.

Casey is really under rated. I have seen his pre-idol performances and he was so good and professional. I believe he will be the most successful contestant for season 9. Seriously it doesn't really matter if he win or not now. AI is just a platform for him to get exposure to mass audiences. He will be a successful artist.

When I first heard they were doing Shania...the only song that really came to mind was "Don't"...although I don't know many of her tunes, lol. After his performance of Jealous Guy, I knew Don't had to be the one. It actually rather shocked me when he said he was doing it. I got this burst of happiness like, hell yeah, man! You read my mind! I have to say, he performed it exactly how I envisioned he would. Spot on. Excellent work.

this is his best performance! i was fully impressed , and im not easily impressed with Idol singers unless its absolutely great, but this one is great. This song shows his potential. Even he says im more excited about this performance than any other one, and he definitely excelled. compelling singing and arrangement!

Outstanding performance with riveting vocals and emotion. I can't decide which I like better ... his version of Shania's "Don't", or Lennon's "Jealous Guy". I believe Casey is in the perfect dark horse position to overtake Lee & Crystal to become the next American Idol. He is without doubt the best overall package in terms of a mad guitar skills musician, riveting vocal artist and awesome stage presence.

Tough luck for him. He is on the bottom 3 (again) in the Top 6 Elimination. I guess most of the teens are voting for Aaron now but yes, Casey has everything in him to be an American Idol.. But from the looks of it, most people would choose for the ordinary looking to win - like Crystal, Lee or Aaron. I would like to see Casey win though.

I closed my eyes and envisioned Casey without the guitar, starting the song sitting and then standing and belting out that song and it was so much better. There are singers and there are performers that not only sing but express the song. Some times a song is better without any movement but I think this song would have been so much better with some stage presence pulling the audience into you and making them feel the song. It was good though.

@mmarkwardt He might need to overtake Crystal, who is excellent, but not Lee. IMO, Casey is superior to Lee in every single aspect. As you say, Case is the ultimate package. A perfect combination of talent, good looks and humbleness. Love him!!!!!

Crystal is someone who has a personality that hasnt been seen on the likes of idol frequently. dont get me wrong though this guy is really good too and i kinda hope he wins. regardless ill check his album out.

@mocalsa dissagree with that. why do you think tim urban got voted on so far. he couldnt sing for his life. the only reason he went on was because he looked attractive to the hordes of teenage girls. he could've sat there and rubbed his nipples every week and gained more votes. however his fan base ran out. now with the top 5, its the same. once someones fan base runs out, its the end of their road. the premise is to vote on the previous nights "audition"/performance, but no one does.
