This editing video is for those of you that are completely new to video editing! I go over what a video editor is, the various different popular programs that are out there, and how to use the basic functions no matter the app you choose to use! Even though I go through this tutorial with DaVinci Resolve 17, the tools and concepts are the same across the board. Every app has the same basic functions, so feel free to use whichever one suits you!

This is perfect! I had found another tutorial and he went so fast and wasn't explaining what each item was and I tried so hard to follow but I was lost! With this, I just spent 1.5 hours following along and editing my very first video! While it's not professional, it looks a lot better than anything I would have uploaded by myself! You taught me more in one 1/2 hour video than I've gotten in ten or so other videos the same length or even longer! 😎 How to use the I and the O; as a shortcut; so you don't have to drag the entire clip into the timeline is something that I was wondering about in Videopad.
