@CaseyFaris if you were doing a traditional YT video, like this one, would you just add your Aroll with the audio track, then go through cutting it up as if it were a VO track?

Two questions, is there a auto-transition like in Sony Vegas when I move 2 clips together at beginning / end? and is there a pre-rendering like I can render 20% of the project and next day another 40% and then when I'm done, the remaining 40% to save rendering time?

Hey Casey! great work! We are prepping for a feature film and would love to do something similar to Annihilation's shimmer effect to create cool environments - Would you perhaps have a tutorial on how to pull off an environment shift in Da Vinci Resolve? Much of the tutorials are for AE :'(

I do a lot of map animations, but I’m always frustrated by resolution. It’s purely my own ignorance, but I’ve never been able to figure it out. I want to use a large satellite view (like from Google Earth) and still maintain visual clarity when zooming-in to the travel path. The KZbin channel GeographyNow uses motion graphics that are similar to what I’m trying for, as an example. I just can’t seem to understand the concept enough to make it work. Anybody have any suggestions?

Would love to see you do a video on how to stablize speed ramps. Shooting houses I have never seen a good speed ramp done on Resolve.

Hey Casey, can I use the Mixer settings in the edit page exclusively? I could only see things like dialog compression and EQ for my purposed but I dont see those options in the mixer on the edit page. Great explanation on Bus. Its kind of like Voicemeter but for me, I can't see having more than 3 audio tracks, background music, voice, effects. Im curious how you do your own videos vs. film.

What do you do if your tracker just glitches to a random spot every now and then?! The tracking seems to work, then the tracker will just leap to a different part of the scene for a frame or two, then pin itself back again. This then obviously takes the whole callout line with it, as it moves. Until I can figure out how to stop that behaviour, I can't use this :( Also, what would be the simplest way of getting all this to start at a later point in the clip? I'm panning into my track location from a part of the scene that doesn't even show that trackable location yet, so I don't need the callout till the end. So far, keyframes in Fusion has proved to be mind bogglingly hard to see & use compared to AE

Seems like these glitches only appear AFTER I do the track backwards. The first forward track works smoothly. Oddly, the glitches are then created in that first smoothly tracked section?! It's not clear in the video how Casey gets back to the start of his intial track, and this method doesn't give the 'Set/Go' options like a Planar Tracker would? Is the problem cause by me not starting the track backwards correctly, or in the right place? I'm literally just dragging the scrubber back to roughly where it looks like I started, with a bit of an overlap

Hey Casey, I don't think you really explained where you pulled the 20% figure from when reducing the speed percentage in Fairlight. I have a 50fps clip on a 25p timeline, but 20% is not lining up perfectly for me. What is the math there? Thanks!
