Casey!! Matilda is a book written by Roald Dahl. It's a kids book. Matilda's dad was a car salesman if I recall correctly. And he would put sawdust in bad transmission's to make them quiet and work so he could flog the car off on some unsuspecting dupe. You may enjoy reading the book to your kid.

My Dad bought a 46 dodge pickup when I was born in 53. The first time he changed the oil, it developed a knocking noise. It turned out, it had a bent rod. The farmer put 90 weight gear oil in and sold it. Dad had the bent rod replaced and it ran fine from then on.
