For Matthew's deck the liberation's + gatekeeper's were there to beat any Odin's if he saw them. Odin can instantly win against the deck by ordering out Mistletien. The main board was strong enough that we figured he really just needed to counter the decks that may be there that could hard beat him. The two friends and a cat's he side boarded where to beat me or Misha if he saw us and for rogue match ups.

It’s very cool and exciting to see my decklist covered on your channel! I love bringing the spotlight to unconventional rulers. Your analysis of the deck’s identity and goals were spot on without missing a beat! My initial idea with the deck was that it performs similar to M&M, but I’m just giving up the Milest ruler burn ability for a “second life” with tree (you still get Moojart’s filter effect with Lenneth effectively.) This synergizes extremely well with the inferno version of burn because your protected against burn when you’re trying to equalize with Inferno after casting Whisper. After that, like you mentioned in the video, you have so many ways to finish off the 100 life the opponent has left. I think burn is doing well right now because it refuses to interact with the board and just wants to win the game on the chase. It’s very difficult to win the game on the board against rulers like Lehen, Lucie, or Seer. So you simply just refuse to interact with them. This deck has a good matchup vs Lehen, burn, and it did okay vs Ayu. It straight up hard loses to: life loss and cancel decks. It soft loses to Hydria and Mirage Spirit I assumed not many people would be running Mirage Spirit or Hydria, but I was terrified of Lucifer One-Wing. Lastly, speaking of losing to cancels…shout out to Paul Martinson for steam rolling me 2-0 in top 8. Green cancel is a natural predator for a deck like this that I just thought I wouldn’t run into because people abandoned green after Mirror came out. Blue is stronger now, but green is still alive! @@DanielMoreno-hw7wg Thank you Daniel! And yes I agree that not committing to a board is the way to go for most decks. So it makes sense that burn is so strong. And we always love seeing creative decks up in top 8. You made a great meta call on your end too! So even if you did get steam rolled by Paul, you still got your invite! So congrats again and I wish you the best at Worlds this year!

For the two gate's decks the Dunyazade are used to loop the Dragon of Meggido to ramp another stone every turn. With 1 Refarth on field the dragon is a 10/10 so it can be killed by using the tap effect of two gates of refarth. With a dunyazade on board we can kill it and revive in immediately after attacking. Normally by the end of turn 2 or 3 we can get a Meggido on field and then use the stories on it to remove all 4. Dunyazade can also revive Gate / Little Maria / Fiethsing / Or Red Witch so it's pretty versatile. The driewing in the side board is sided in with the two friends and a cat so that we can expel it using the third mode and prevent will generation. It was our counter to Matthew's deck, Artillerist decks, and Odin.

Thank you for acknowledging me and making me feel like slightly less of a failure XD Also Blade Dance actually makes X copies + the original. Resting 5 armaments means there 6 total Blade Dances on the chase. It's pretty nice. As for the inferno, the board mode is the most useful in some matchups, since Elektra doesn't really have more than like 2 MAYBE 3 things on board at a time. Usually just 1 or two clowns and maybe Elektra herself, and Elektra doesn't even count towards Inferno since it looks at non-magic stone, non-j-ruler entities. But I probably used the life equalizing effect the most overall. My stones pay a lot of life, so most games by turn 3-4 I'm sitting around 2000-2500 life if I've taken a hit or two on top of paying for stones. Paying my life down a little bit more to play Inferno and then having a blade dance and a few armaments on board won me a couple games. Blade Dance is so difficult to cancel, that even if your opponent is at 2k life, they're still potentially in danger. The Clowns are a base 200/200 but because of their abilities and Flying, they can hit extremely hard and fast if they stick around for a turn or if you manage to upgrade Longsword. A Blade Dance before recovery for like 1600 damage, then an Aquasol to get it back, into another 1600 damage Blade Dance is usually more than enough to end the game on turn 3 or so. Nice video Shunpo. Some thoughts we want to share: Seems like the metagame is pretty open and diverse, control decks need to have a good plan and be well rounded meanwhile aggressive decks are choosing Inferno combo as main wincon. Despite being the most popular deck, Lehen is not the buggyman as she has bad matchup agains inferno combo. While inferno combo seems far better than burn, if people start teaching heavily against inferno burn can coexist and take it own space. There's a new version of Gates, which is impressive as the deck have been around since release, we're curious to see newer lists improving existing archetypes. Lastly, looks like Hydria is far more important than the Mirage Spirit, so next tournament top8 can be totally different.

Is there a list for the Reinhardt decks? I’ve checked the link and can’t see them on there
