Great Danes may have short life span but that shouldn't deter people from adopting them. And the same thing goes with other large dog breeds with short life span as well.

This is true if you do your homework you'll know that about the breed there's a lot of dogs that don't have a long life span and you should know that before you adopt or even go to a breeder hopefully not a puppy mill Great Danes, Rottweilers especially unfortunately, and even though they're adorable and they're like Pomeranians which have a long life the King Charles cavaliers another one. Yet there are some big dogs that do live a long time but good old-fashioned bloodhound lol and a lot of times newfies

Brings back good memories of campus. My father had two Great Danes in quick succession right around the time I was at UCLA, too. Great dogs. Never saw many dogs on campus, unlike other schools that are far away from the madding crowd. I always found Great Danes to be a little unusual in the dog world for being so inscrutable. Always got a kick out of my dad's dogs who would start to shake and twitch when trying to express their emotions. Very stoic animals.

wow i like how cash just stood there while you cleaned up after him and threw it away, hes well behaved. most dogs would run off. I also respect the fact you are responsible and clean up after him. i have that issue with my apartment complex, there are dog bags and waste cans in grassy areas, and most of the owners still leave the waste on the ground and walk off, even though there is a waste station 3 feet away.
