@gewurztramina If Jacob was seized from an abusive breeder as she says, it's likely there are records of who his littermates were (mostly to prevent accidental inbreeding, which is bad for business). Vardan may even have been seized at the same time as Jacob and just sent to a different rescue--often when breeders are raided, there are too many animals to send to a single rescue. But if the rescue that took in Vardan could no longer house him, a rescue that already had one of his littermates might make a good home for him.

All I see is energy wasted regarding rescuing humans, but whatever. The arrogance and bias it must take to think nature needs rescuing from ourselves more than we do is off the charts. If humans fixed their societies and we support strong family systems and self reliance the rest falls in place. We are out of balance and things like animal rescue is akin to big pharma treating symptoms.. sadly your's and most causes ppl take up is an industry and as long as you treat the symptoms not the problem the industry thrives. Before anyone gets all offended and thinks I'm just being a D lemme clarify that my main point is there is a limited amount of empathy in this world. Action on that empathy is an even more rare resource. So, when I see a good person with empathy put it all into one cause that isn't directly fixing human society It saddens me as all I see is what coulda been done with their love. So this person in the video is a great human, but she isn't t Reaching her potential for changing the world because she is hyper focused on one cause that tugs on her heart specifically. I love animals, I have a feral rescue cat, but I'd sacrifice them all to fix society, because otherwise all the animals, including humans will be lost to history

Beautiful creatures. We have a Wolf dog sanctuary around here and the whole Wolf dog thing, either works or it's a tragic story more often than not, it's a tragic story. A Wolf is an Apex predator a dog is a Wolf that's been bred down for generations or bred differently for generations for specific purposes in human orders. Orientation. More often not. I've seen a prey drive of these Wolf. Dogs that entails killing smaller dogs and cats and sometimes small livestock. Not all of them, but most of them that does not lee do a good mix with society
@Thee-_-Outlier4 ай бұрын
@@scottflues9442 I'm not saying you're wrong, but I'm sure you know that when human suburbs encroach on natural wolf territory small dogs and cats are their prey. Ppl who live near a wolf population can't just leave their dogs outside at night. If you're insinuating that wild wolves don't target these animals as natural prey but wolves raised by humans do, then I feel you're incorrect. I would suspect these partially domesticated wolves are just given easier access and trusted too much. As usual people are the problem

I had 2 wolf Hybrid dogs when I was growing up that were brothers and it I'd exactly like that.... We had to quarantine one of them for 10 days for biting someone (who would have been fine if he had just freaking listened.) Anyway, the one that was home literally was moping around and wouldn't eat until his brother got back.. Seeing his face light up when his brother came thru the door was beyond words.... Also, they got loose once together and we're gone for a couple days and when they were found, one of them had a swollen paw and couldn't walk very well and his brother was right there with him.... Wolves have this amazing bond with their family and it's a beautiful thing to get to witness and be a part of. I would love to be able to have wolf mixes again one day. They are the best dogs I have ever had or had the pleasure to be around. Oh and also Akitas. These dog breeds get these bad reputations when it has absolutely nothing to do with the breed. It is completely about how the dog was raised and cared for. Any dog can be dangerous and unpredictable if it's not properly trained and loved. Same thing with human beings. So people let's stop labeling dog's personalities and behaviors by their breed and show everyone that all dogs are capable of love. ❤

I love that there are sanctuaries not just for wolves but multiple types of animals ( legitimate sanctuaries) because unfortunately through various causes some animals would not survive in the wild, and to see a suffering animal whether wild or not and do nothing is just horrible, you are basically sentencing them to a long drawn out death. So it warms my heart when well meaning people who TRULY care about the animals well being regardless of their own desires (like wanting to keep them despite the animals misery) and rescue them and try to get them the help and care they need and if possible return them to the wild but if not find them a suitable place where they can live comfortably and happy.

When I saw what Jacob did to the pillows I laughed because Ianuk destroyed pillows and a mattress in his youth. When I joined the military, I didn't see Ianuk for almost 5 years. When I went to my dad's to visit, Ianuk bolted to the wooded backyard because he didn't recognize me. He slowly circled me with his nose up. I held my hand out and you could see the moment he caught my scent. He bounded toward me and knocked me to the ground, covering me with wolf kisses. He lived to 28 years old. Such a cool great story. I much prefer these kinds of stories than all the violence-hate stories here on YT. Thank you for sharing this today. Shalom

This is so sad to see this powerful species be reduced to this scared timid being, I wish humans would let wild animals be wild. Thank you for helping these beautiful creatures.

I love wolf dogs. Had 2 of them they were sisters. They were incredible. Let them loose no cages on 200 acres. They were home every night to greet me.

what surprises me most is when humans are surprised that animals are intelligent and have memory and recall , compassion for each other and other species , that they are emotional and can show depression and certainly fear, anger and joy . Because if you took a minute to think what they do to live and survive. Such as REMEMBERING where to get the food they eat . Or the route they take to get certain places. That’s just a couple quick examples. All animals are emotional and intelligent sentient beings with memory and recall. ❤

The wolf are now back in my Southern Scandinavian country, that is not entirely popular. I met one of them one night testing a flashlight in a forest, and i got the distinct feeling it was thinking " i wonder if this is dinner " So ! since then if i go to the forrest at night, i now carry a BIG knife, which i of course hope i never get to use, but i am not transforming to dinner without a fight. BTW i love the wolf are back to my country.
