This looks like a good division. Of course, you want to set aside some for taxes. And maybe put some in envelopes that you've not been able to fund much and/or bills that you may not be a month ahead on yet. But def save some for fun or even $5 in the new teacher wardrobe envelope! It's so cute!

I agree with a lot of other people when it comes to the KZbin money. Create a percentage system that aligns with your financial goals, and apply it the same every time. Example if savings is key 50% to savings, then 25% to fun, and 25% to sinking funds? The great thing is that you decide! Yay to extra $$.

I think it’s important to treat yourself. I’d always put some away for spending first. Knowing I have money to spend, helps me in the long run to save. Then I would save some and put the rest towards your business.

I’d put 30% away for taxes, 50% towards bills (since you’re not working much) and the balance as a checking buffer. I TRY to keep $1500 as a checking buffer. I know that’s a lot, but it seems we have a lot of “front of the month” bills before our first paycheck on the second Wednesday of the month.
