I work at a retirement community and they have all been getting Noro also and I have been the same! My hands are so raw from washing. I have a cruise at the end of this month and literally can not get sick!! I take zinc to boost my immunity.

Hi Aya, just a thought about Logan’s job shutting down in September for one month: Could he file for unemployment to help out with expenses. (?). My husbands company used to do this from time to time and this was an option. 🤔

Hi! Not sure exactly how long they will be shut down for but last time this happened, they were able to wait for like a week but then they said no more work. We did look into unemployment but he said that you have to be out of work for a certain amount of time and his job cuts it off right before! So that their employees can’t claim. So crazy!!

Just wanted to give you a heads up that he may be able to get unemployment due to the shutdown -- Tell him to check with your state unemployment to find out what they offer in your state.

Thank you, but we already thought about this and I believe to get unemployment, you need to be out of work for a certain amount of time…. And his work cuts it off right before! So that their employees cannot claim unemployment. So crazy!!

@@ayaplans I would still call the local or state unemployment office to confirm -- in my start you have to be off for more than 7 days so if they are shutting down for a month, he still might be able to get it. I would call them.
