Girl i know the struggle is real! I just started getting further in my cash stuffing and my husband got hurt on the job and we lost all of his overtime and we live off of his overtime. All of my envelopes r now empty except for Christmas and next month I'll have to do that I just hate it. But God willing he'll be back to full time work next month. Keep fighting the fight! We will prevail!!❤❤❤

i hate spending from my envelopes too. i had to pay our property tax bill and i cried when i pulled the money. on the plus side at least you had it saved up in place you could pull from 😊 that’s always a plus

But thank goodness you had the money to pay for these things, which is exactly WHY we do this! Don't feel bad! This happens to us all! I'm paying back a broken pipes bill, water clean up, new water heater, and now the deductible on hail damage to our roof. God willing we have it saved but it will take a CHUNK out of our savings. We just wiped out our emergency fund (not fully funded) and 2 of my savings challenges I’ve been trying to finish. Our dishwasher quit (already had to fix the washer) and I didn’t want to touch our savings. It sucks we have to start that over. However, I’m ecstatic that we didn’t have to put it on a credit card or touch our savings. I’m thankful we started budgeting/cash stuffing so we were somewhat prepared. Brush yourself off and keep going, you’re doing great! We appreciate your honesty and transparency.

Thank you for your transparency. Your feelings are completely valid and understandable. I had a set back in March/April and had to deplete my sinking funds & savings challenges as well. But the Lord always provides & sustains us. Now I am back to to where I was earlier in the year. And to your point, the silver lining is that you had the funds there to use. It’s hard to see it go but then again, this is why we save, right? But with patience, it will all build back up again. Give yourself some grace. You’re doing great! ❤

Your husband should ask around at work to see if anyone he works with knows someone who fixes cars. You should ask at your job too. I'm sure there is someone at your job or your hubby's job that has a family member or friend that knows how to fix cars and can do it for you on the side. It would save you the hassle and it's cheaper lol
