Damn, I missed this one!!! I was a big fan of both labels, especially since they were peaking during my high school years. Both labels got a bad rap at times (usually from elitists and "real hip-hop" heads), but in spite of that they gave us a lot of great music. To this day I think Beats By The Pound & Mannie Fresh deserve more love for their work ethic & consistency behind the boards.

My only gripe with Feefo representing Cash Money was even tho he did what he needed to do to win, you could tell he only knew about the hits. He wasn’t a fan enough to know about them B Sides where as Beezy came with b sides for no limit. At least that’s what it felt like. Versuz ain’t just about the hits.
