Apparently they forgot to tell you that when doing melt and pour "layers" you're supposed to spritz with rubbing (isopropyl) alcohol. Lol. That helps the layers adhere to each other.

Also the kit should have involved time and temperature since that can affect how the opposing colors/layers meld. Unless I misunderstood something, I'm concerned with the fact that the soap kit involved water-based colorants and no preservative due to bacteria that would be caused by water introduction. The colors should have been powder and a small thing of isopropyl alcohol to "liquify" the colors, spray the soap pieces for better adhesion and to pop any formed bubbles. That kit was definitely trash and shouldn't have a "STEM" rating, too many ignored opportunities for learning.

The missing component in the soap kit is rubbing alcohol - at least 90% isopropyl alcohol. Spraying it on the soap in between layers pops bubbles and helps them adhere.

Not sure if you know this (I only just found this out) but Sika's eyebrows and eyeliner are actually tattooed on because her hair kept falling out from Crohn's disease (I think I spelt that right) and chemotherapy

Even if her eyelashes fell out, eyeliner is literally just makeup - and unfortunately will look like a bad mistake in 10 years because of how skin changes and makeup fashions change. I can see the reasoning for the eyebrows but it’s going to be a similar deal. Tattood makeup is just something that should be avoided.
