We just visited our youngest son and his family...3 kids, ages 4, 2, and 4 months. So yeah, it's a lot! My sweet DIL is amazing! The 2 y/o (girl) has needed extra encouragement. A mini M&M is a special reward.

The more relaxed you can be about potty training the better. Kids pick up on your stress. Talk to the teacher more about things and ask them to put your child on a timed schedule at school so she can know success at school and not stress. Make sure it does not feel punative and that she can easily go back to what she was doing B4. Lots and LOTS of praise goes a long way.

Ooh Girl, I’m in it right along with you and the toilet training! My Livvy is fully potty trained. Pooping, that’s a whole struggle and she refuses to go on the toilet. She runs to grab a pull-up so she can handle business. She says it’s because she doesn’t want the toilet water to splash up onto her booty. Girl has a point and I don’t quite have a rebuttal or solution for that. 😂

Shew… I felt this comment in the very depths of my being. That’s where Rem is having the biggest struggle too. She’s holding it until she can’t anymore. She said it feels like her “insides are falling out” which I also am not quite sure what to do with. 🫠 and Livvy’s definitely got a point… can’t say I’m a fan of that splash situation either. 😂 Solidarity, sister….

I love my white envelope I got from u...i cut the bottom corners at an angle and it fits even better in my wallet/envelopes example: \envelope/ does ur daughter have a favorite type of panties? My girls had special ones they picked out that they loved and they would be really carefully not to have an accident in them. Hope that helps. Have her school put her on a potty schedule and drop off treats for her. Every hour they take her to the potty and if she goes, she gets a treat. She probably doesn't want to stop playing, but she needs to learn that the game or toy will still be there when she's done. I stopped bringing extra clothes for my daughter and the first time she had to stay in her wet underwear and pants all day at school, she never had another accident again because she didn't want to stay in wet clothes again. I felt bad because I thought it was mean, but it worked! Maybe try that, but let the teacher know in advance.
