I am sorry to hear about the unfortunate interaction with a customer. Accountability is a struggle for some and you were right to stick to your policy and not refund. Most of us that have Etsy shops have the no refund or exchange policy because the item is already made, time has been spent and product used. It’s not like a manufactured retail item where you can refurbish and resell it, even if the customer shipped to back to you. Which shipping it back would be a whole different matter to address. Your customer was mad at themselves for their foolishness and took it out on you. The challenge is still of quality and usable, she just needs envelopes, which are easily available on Amazon or shoot, use a Ziplock baggie if needed. 🤷🏽‍♀️ You would think with my 20+ years in banking that people’s ridiculousness wouldn’t shock me but, then outrageousness is encountered. Hold that head up high, Maddie. The crown needs to remain on the head. ❤

People who don’t watch my content and don’t know the backstory will go on there and read that 1 star review and it’ll deter them from purchasing from my shop. It sucks but it is what it is. I won’t let that negativity stop me. 😌
