Backgrounds reveal for NPCs

Here are the six new cutscenes in Darktide that came with Patch 13 plus the new elevator for after mission that spawns you closer to the Mission Terminal.
If you want to get the Psykhanium one to trigger, I had to make a new character and play through the Prologue. It triggers when you enter the doorway of the Psykhanium before you interact with anything.
All of the other cutscenes trigger when you interact with them.

Theres tons of new dialogue as well. I just played a game and the Psyker accused my Cadian Veteran of smiling, it was really funny. Psyker: “Did you just smile?” Veteran: “No…” Psyker: “You did, I saw it!” Veteran: “Well…. You’re a freak, so you see things all the time! I don’t smile.”

Yeah something like 450 new conversations were added in this patch. Wild stuff!

had one where the ogryn said he considered the non ogryns in the squad as their family the psyker responded that it felt good only to be interrupted by the ogryn continuin and saying they're tiny, squishy and pathetic, but little family nonetheless, to which the psyker said itwas weird but thankful and he felt specifically safe now brogryns real

@@Minority119 I saw one of brawler and I think cutthroat vet talking to each other (or maybe professional) and how the vet hadn't been around many Ogryn and he was getting used to it. Ogryn was all in on the "I like you!" even though the vet was trying to be "I didn't say I like you!" energy. Ogryn at the end "I like you anyway!"

Love the armory exchange and melk's cutscenes, they really breathe life into the inquisitorial warband that you often dont see

I agree. I especially liked Melk's cutscene. Didn't know the crotchety old man was the master of espionage.

The new character they added for the clothes shop slso gets some character development when you level up. I created a new class for the update and saw her in the non premium cometics store, and when i switched to my main Lv 30 character she got a new "outfit". A small interesting touch you should check out.

I think Brunt’s the Ogryn. Which is really suprising. Such delicate hands.

I like that Ogryns are more complex here. I guess the lore already has plenty of Ogryns that aren’t just brutes, but seeing one that’s a quartermaster and I guess maybe a weaponsmith to some degree is really interesting.

Those cutscenes are great. This game and the setting have so much potential! I would love to see (in no particular order); Playable Servitors or new classes, PvP (small or large like Planetside of old), and a decent 40K MMORPG. One can dream.

I played three different Ogryn builds last night - the first time I've been able to interface with the Talent Trees and what they bring to the table. My goodness was it a breath of fresh air. The choices you have to make are good. You certainly can't just pick everything you want and be done with it. Great update. Looking forward to seeing what FS does with crafting.

So I'm assuming you already finished the "main story" before the update, did all these cinematics unlock for you once you logged in or did you have to jerry rig the game to initiate the cinematics
