I got pulled a few weeks ago doing doordash really late at night around 1 am. Finished dashing, stopped and got a few beers for when i got home, so i leave the gas station driving in a big city, greensboro Nc. and it's very well lit, so i didn't notice my headlights weren't on(can barely tell in the country they're ridiculously dim) turns out my registration had died and i didnt even have my registration in the car ,and i had a open container under my seat, you could imagine how bad that looks but it was a can from days before a buddy dropped the can and it rolled under my seat unopened but busted from hitting the metal under there probably when i adjusted my seat but the cops didn't give me a field sobriety test or anything just talked for a few mins ( 6 cops 3 cars) gave me a warning for the lights and registration and didnt say anything about the container. Good cops? Or am i the luckiest man alive? Edit: I was very respectful and corporative with them the whole time I think that went a long way compared to how alot of people would have acted in that situation.
