The stock market is not “more risky” than life insurance returns. It’s more volatile. There is a difference

How do you properly ask for a loan? The last time I took a loan from my policy, it took it out of the cash value and not the company itself. Therefore I stopped earning interest on my entire cash value.

Sounds like you took a fixed loan non participating what company?
@shadowfire16582 жыл бұрын
Could be a non-participating loan or a straight withdrawal from the cash value subject to surrender fees depending on when you did that.

@@shadowfire1658 so how do we make it a participating loan I guess is my question?
@429mas2 жыл бұрын

I been paying premiums for seven years for my IUL, and still have long way to go to 65. (I am 45) But it’s nice to see that you actually can make loans or withdrawals, makes me feel a little more confident in the product.

Is the loan against the actual cash value of the account (say, $2,000), or is it against the policy limit ($1M)?
@jrod79292 жыл бұрын
Both really. You can borrow up to your Cash Value amount. And at the same time the outstanding loans will be deducted from your Death Benefit payout until paid back.
