Great job demonstrating this watch! I recently bought a NOS one last year and like it a lot. The motor is slow as you say, but the legibility on my reference model (white and orange)is outstanding! Maybe there is lume variation between models as mine is visible all night. I find the alarm useful and loud enough for my purposes. The 1/100 sec stop watch is cool to use in figuring lightning strike distances. I like the fact it is all analog. A beautiful G-Shock watch for those that prefer analog. The alpha gel is just that something extra special that allows this watch to be a true triple G resist watch. Are you planning on doing a disassembly video for this watch?

Maybe because it had less features on it? No backlight, non snooze single alarm, a bit overpriced for non gravitymaster series.

These watches have what is called an overcharge feature that prevents overcharging. However, please do not leave the watch in direct sunlight in a hot environment for many hours as it will damage the battery and solar panel.

I got new one, Dead stock , But hands always getting stuck when I have to set time. And it stop moving for about ten minutes and then rework again. I don't know it defect or it's just low battery. Could someone please give me some advice, Or I have to refund.

Probably a battery issue, try putting it in direct sunlight for a few hours on a cool day.

I’ve got very good experience with Casio. But most of G-shocks are overpriced. It is a popular brand and reasonably priced. Anyway, presentation was great 👍. Very professional.

Yes, it is exactly the same module (just different number). The only difference is that it is rotated at a different angle. One difference is that the GW3000 lacks the alpha gel protection.
