My late father bought me one of these back in 1993 for my 12th birthday. It’s been going for almost 32 years and still keeps acceptable time for an older quartz watch. Absolutely brilliant watch and it’s been all around the world with me

i have the sibling of this model the aw49h, bought in 2007 and still ticking till now just replaced the battery once and the replace the strap with a brown tanned leather. its beautiful and i have a lot of memories with it.

I had the aw30 back in the day (can't remember if it was 80s or early 90s) this looks almost exactly the same. Such a quirky and good looking Casio. I really have to stop buying Casios... But..... Just one more for nostalgia

Just got the watch yesterday for 24 USD First impression it was little bit smaller than I expected but no problem I didn't realize it doesn't have backlight until I get it. Im not a watch guy but maybe this will be the first i Will wear it daily Maybe in couple months get another Casio or G-shock ... Can you please give me some recommendation and thank you again for the review.

Thank you for your comment. Personally I would say that looking at the styling of the watch and the size (as I have just tried it on my wrist again) it seems a bit more masculine than feminine. So I would say that, in my humble opinion, the Casio AW-90H is more of a man's watch. Hope it helps. Cheers, Tony - WTA

Does the mrw 200h surpass this watch? This looks a bit less durable.

Out of the two I prefer the Casio MRW-200H and I would say in my humble opinion is a little more durable. The only thing to remember is that the Casio MRW-200H is analogue only with a date complication whereas the Casio AW-90H has a digital element to it, with stopwatch and alarm functions built in. I've used this model in 1998, AW-90, a timeless model, unfortunately mine was lost and when i wanted to buy it again, i found its relative homage, AQ-230, with bigger battery, skmei 1220

Hi there, there is a very thin amount of luminescent paint on the hour and minute hand but it wasn't very bright when I had tried it out plus there is no LED light built into the watch. So if you are looking to be able to tell the time in the dark then you may need to look at a different Casio watch. Hope it helps! Cheers, Tony - WTA
