Featuring the WV-58A and WV-200 models, including the newer WV-200R with Module 3477. These watches are capable of setting themselves to the correct "Atomic Time" every night when they are within range of an appropriate radio broadcast source. In my case, the broadcast comes from only about 350 miles away in Fort Collins, Colorado at radio station WWV (or WWVB).

Casio needs a digital watch with solar and multiband 6 that has a large display for the time so it's easy to read. Something like the g shock square but with larger numbers.

I have one of the bit more expensive one that I use to set my other watches. It is nice to have one with exact right time.

Just i bought for £15 only a Casio WVA 106HU and i consider it a very friendly budget waveceptor Casio watch :).

I’ve bought recently WV-58R exactly because it’s super light, but very functional. I wear them at home, while using a smartwatch when outside. They do have MultiBand 5 now. I also like alarm is not too loud and sounds only 15 seconds, not a whole minute. However I wish they made them completely black instead of shiny, then it would be a perfect “minimalistic” watch.

It would be very interesting your appreciation of the CASIO "VIBE ALARM" line and its characteristics (some without WAVE CEPTOR or MULTI BAND 6 because they are stealthy / tactical / military) highlighting the CASIO G-SHOCK GD-350-1B in extreme so as not to be detectable, greetings and thanks.

Those are great looking watches. A couple months ago I got the GWM500A-1 and loved it so much that I've been on the lookout for other watches with similar multi band feature.

I recently got the green wv200r and I love it so far. Only flaw is that the stopwatch only counts up to an hour

Thanks for another great video Greg. So Wave Ceptor and Multiband are pretty much the same, as they are used both. With 5/6 indication to differentiate the amount of towers they can receive.

I have two WV-58As. I really like the large time display. Very legible. I wish I’d learned about Polywatch earlier as the crystal scratches easily. My older one is prone to resetting spontaneously on my wrist, so I use it as a clock instead. One of my favourite watches.

I have two of these models the blue and the vw 58u I did pick them up for a great price on clearance they don’t get much wrist time because I have lots of watches mostly casio and citizen my newest one is the gwgb1000 in red which has all the bells and whistle functions very big but Comfortable and light

Greg, I have quite a few Casio and G-Shock watches in my collection, but I'm aghast to say I don't have even one Wave Ceptor! 😮 Have to get one! I Would be great if there was a solar version. I just picked up a Mission Impossible DW-290 1VS with the electro luminescent display, which I heard is or has just been discontinued. Excellent video.
