Greg, I'm compelled to say that your watch reviews and overviews are my favorite to watch on all of KZbin. I appreciate what you do. In addition to various G-Shocks and black squares, I have the OCW-S100-1AJF, and sometimes feel I should have gotten the T200 instead as the size might be more appropriate for my 8" wrist, but the face on the S100 is really nice with its indices that are accented in blue on the perimeter. I've now ordered the OCW-S7000A-2AJF from Japan. Can't wait for it to arrive, it's absolutely gorgeous.

Your review sold me on buying this and I got it for $300 .

I remember buying this clock way back when and at the time it was relatively expensive, though less than $100. I think it was around $70. I was so disappointed then that the moon was a flat picture and not an actual moon as the ad had not made that clear. I returned it. This was such a great concept and I don't doubt the mechanics were complex, so it was puzzling they came up short as I saw it on the actual globe. I was hoping they'd update it with a full sphere version, maybe a 3d globe even if it were plastic but instead they appear to have given up entirely and stopped selling it. Now apparently its a collectors item? Well so thats the breaks.

I have the Anker 522 so I bought the Harbor Freight folding solar panel; I hooked it up and nothing; I checked the voltage from the panels and they were working fine, I was baffled. Later that night I compared the 8mm plug from the original AC charger to the HF 8mm plug; I saw that the solar panel 8mm would not plug as deep; so I simply trimmed maybe 1/8” shroud off the adapter; it’s working perfectly now (actually charging at this moment using just the solar panel!)

I got one of these a few months ago as well. I kinda love it. Its a very fast way to charge solar watches. Especially a used one from ebay that's been in a drawer for months or years and the batteries need some deep charge reconditioing.

Hi, I put mine on a combi bracelet! I love it.

The benefit of having the parallel battery slots would be the ability to change the batteries when the set of two gets low, without resetting the time. Place the new batteries in position and the old batteries can then be removed without disturbing the time. I'd use rechargeable batteries with low self discharge and just alternate sets as needed at the more frequent basis, since it wouldn't need the tedious process of resetting the time each time.

I also own the 535, but it has 2 times 230V output. The inverter only draws 3 watt when switched on.

My grandparents had a grandfather clock, which brings back memories of me being at their house. My favorite chime was Westminster. I'd like another grandfather clock in the future.
